(FORT MYERS, FLA) — Was it a God thing? One of the winning tickets from the Mega Millions jackpot was sold in Fort Myers weeks after Hurricane Ian devastated the area.
Ticket holders in California and Florida matched all six numbers on Friday night, winning $494 million.
The Powerball jackpot went unclaimed again, with no grand prize winner in Saturday night’s drawing.
That means at least $480-million dollars will be on the line Monday.
The next Mega Millions drawing takes place Tuesday after the jackpot reset to $20-million after Friday night’s winning drawing.
The Mega Millions pot was worth $502-million dollars – the eleventh largest jackpot in the multi-state lottery’s history.
