LOTTERY players are being urged to check their tickets as two £1 million EuroMillions prizes are yet to be claimed.

The two ticket-holders won the UK Millionaire Maker prize in last Friday’s EuroMillions draw, with one ticket bought online and the other in a retail store.

Players automatically receive the Millionaire Maker code, which is printed on their ticket, with every line played.

Millionaire Maker guarantees a winner in every draw, but in Friday’s draw there were 22 £1 million prizes up for grabs.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at The National Lottery, said: “It’s only just under a week since the draw, but we’re urging all EuroMillions players to log into their National Lottery account – the easiest way to do this is via the National Lottery app – or check their tickets to be in with a chance of claiming one of these two amazing £1 million prizes.

“There are two millionaires out there who are maybe yet to realise it.

“Imagine what you could do with £1 million – a once-in-a-lifetime holiday, a dream pad or treating your nearest and dearest.”

Players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize if they have a winning ticket.

It comes after a UK ticket-holder won a record EuroMillions jackpot of £195 million, the biggest National Lottery win of all time, in the previous draw on July 19.

A claim has been staked for the prize, but there has been no information yet as to whether the winner will go public.
