On Monday, lottery authorities said that a ticket worth one million dollars was purchased in the city of Eugene.

 According to a press release issued by the Oregon Lottery, it matched five of the six winning numbers from the drawing that took place on Tuesday.

After paying their respective state and federal taxes, the winner in Oregon will take home around $680,000.

Some Oregon shops have reported an increase in sales as a result of the Mega Millions jackpot.
