Since a reward of $502 million was won on October 14 by two different ticket holders, the jackpot has rolled over 24 times.
These winners were from California and Florida respectively.
In 2017, there were six different winners of the Mega Millions jackpot.
The drawing that took place on July 29 offered the biggest reward, which was worth $1.337 billion.
