165 residents of a Belgian town share a 'Christmas present' of $151 million 

A community of 165 individuals from Belgium's EuroMillions lottery won a combined jackpot of $151.18 million. 

The prize was awarded to them collectively. 

Each inhabitant received around €868,000 ($9,17,967) in the lottery, which was run by the Belgian National Lottery.

More than 27 million people entered the draw that took place on Tuesday, and inhabitants of Olmen.

According to EuroMillions, the total amount of reward money for the jackpot that was won was €142,897,164 ($15,11,83,056).

This was the largest collective victory ever, according to Joke Vermoere, a spokesman for the National Lottery of Belgium.
