Camelot UK Lotteries Limited, operator of The National Lottery, can today confirm that it has validated and paid out the £1,000,000 UK Millionaire Maker prize won on a ticket bought in Leeds for the special EuroMillions draw on 22 July 2022, when 22 UK millionaires were made in one night.

Unless the winner of a major National Lottery prize opts to take full publicity and signs an agreement to that effect, no further information can be released about their win.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners advisor at The National Lottery, said, “We’re delighted that we’ve been able to pay out this fantastic EuroMillions prize and we hope that the lucky ticket-holder will enjoy their win.

A lottery ticket worth £1 million has been claimed in Leeds.

“By buying a ticket for EuroMillions or any other National Lottery game, every player is helping to raise money for Good Causes. More than £30M is raised every week for projects across the UK, both big and small, including funding everything from local charities making a difference where you live to helping our nation’s athletes win medals at the recent Commonwealth Games.”

Players can buy and check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or at national-lottery.co.uk. Players can also buy and check tickets in retail. Playing online via the app or website means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize. You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you’re a winner.
