The Mega Millions jackpot for 04/29/2022 was $43 million, and here are the winning numbers from Friday night’s drawing.
The numbers drawn Friday night were 9, 11, 34, 49 and 66 for the white balls, while the yellow Mega Ball was 15 and the Megaplier was 2x.
Friday night’s 04/29/2022 Mega Millions jackpot was worth $43 million, with a cash-value option worth $25.5 million.
There was no grand prize winner on Friday, so the jackpot for Tuesday 05/03/22 increases to $57 million, nor were there any tickets sold that matched all the white balls as well as the Mega Ball for the game’s second prize of $1 million.
The game saw four winners who matched four white balls and the Mega Ball, each winning $10,000, with two more of those ticket holders each winning the Megaplier prize of $20,000. A group of 186 people picked the numbers on four white balls without the Mega Ball, for which each won $500, with 50 of those ticket holders each winning the Megaplier prize of $1,000. There were 503 winners who matched three white balls and the Mega Ball, each winning $200. One hundred thirty-eight of those ticket holders each won the Megaplier prize of $400.

Mega Millions drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. ET. Five white balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 70, while one yellow Mega Ball is drawn from balls numbered 1 through 25. You win if the numbers on your lottery ticket match the numbers of the balls drawn on that date.
Mega Millions tickets cost $2 per play. If no one wins the jackpot prize, the money is added to the top prize for the following drawing.
Most states offer a Megaplier option, which costs an additional $1 per play and increases non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four or five times. Before each Mega Millions drawing on Tuesdays and Fridays, the Megaplier is drawn from a pool of 15 balls. Five of these balls are marked with 2X, six with 3X, three with 4X and one with 5X.
