The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $45 million with a cash option valued at $21.4 million.
The winning numbers were: 21, 30, 35, 45 and 66. The Mega Ball drawn was 21 with a Megaplier of 3X.
No one across the country hit Friday’s $30 million jackpot. There were also no second-prize, $1 million winners.
In New Jersey, a $10,000 third-prize ticket was bought by a player using the Jackpocket app, lottery officials said. It matched four numbers plus the Mega Ball.
Friday’s winning numbers were: 34, 36, 43, 45 and 68. The Mega Ball drawn was 22 with a Megaplier of 2X.
The odds of a $2 ticket matching all the winning numbers are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least $1 million.
Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is worth an estimated $700 million with a cash option of $335.7 million. It’s potentially the eighth largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history.
