The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s lottery drawing has increased to an estimated $333 million, with a cash option valued at $185.6 million.
The winning numbers were: 7, 12, 21, 43 and 55. The Mega Ball drawn was 11 with a Megaplier of 2x.
While no one across the country hit Friday’s $312 million jackpot, a second-prize, $1 million ticket was bought in Florida. It matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball.
In New Jersey, five of the 30 tickets that matched four numbers were bought with the Megaplier for an extra $1 and are worth $1,000 apiece. The other 25 are valued at $500 each.
Friday’s winning numbers were: 1, 7, 11, 25 and 56. The Gold Mega Ball drawn was 14 with a Megaplier of 2x.
No one has hit the jackpot since a $20 million ticket was sold in Tennessee for the April 15 drawing. There have been four jackpot winning tickets sold nationwide so far in 2022.
The odds of a $2 ticket matching all the winning numbers are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least $1 million.
Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
