Lottery: $1 million Mega Millions ticket sold in Shepherdstown

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. — A $1 million Mega Millions ticket was sold in Jefferson County in connection with the latest drawing last Friday.

The West Virginia Lottery announced Monday the winning ticket was purchased at Sheetz on Martinsburg Pike in Shepherdstown.

The $1 million ticket matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball. The player also did not purchase the Megaplier option.

The Lottery is encouraging the holder of the ticket to sign the back and call the Lottery at 304-558-0500.
